A Simple Planning Process To Achieve Your Goals
Speaker: Jim Whelan, The Vision Architect, ProActive Corporation
Do you get sweaty palms when you think about strategic planning? Does your head swim with thoughts of hours of agony and struggle? Do you feel that once committed to paper your plan is chiseled in stone? Jim Whelan has a system that takes the mystery and agony out of planning for the future.
By understanding this process, you can achieve professional success and personal fulfillment. You will learn how to establish your vision, identify your milestones, and concentrate on the outcome to attain the desired results. During this interactive session, you will actually apply this method to develop your own strategic plan and to stay focused on your goals.
The workshop will include the opportunity to get your questions about strategic planning answered, so gather your questions and join us.
Speaker: Jim Whelan heads ProActive Corporation. He has worked on strategic and project planning with small- to medium-sized companies as well as with associations and law firms. He believes that every organization (and individual) can achieve its goals through planning and focusing on the outcome.
Jim has conducted seminars for many organizations including American Management Association, American Conference Institute, and Institutional Investor Conference. His challenges have included planning and implementing the relocation of a corporate headquarters and 400 jobs from New York to Washington, DC; starting and growing a bank; and revamping a corporate collection system involving 500 banks.
