ColdFusion, Introduction  
Saturday, June 5, 2004, 2:00-4:00 pm 

Audience: Those new to ColdFusion or interested in seeing what can be done with it, and those who work with databases and need to present database information in a Web site. 

This "Introduction to ColdFusion" Seminar  demonstrates the basics of ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML) coding, with easy-to-understand  samples. You will learn how ColdFusion interacts with databases and see samples of Web sites currently using ColdFusion. 

Seminar agenda: 

  • Introduction to ColdFusion
  • Sampling of sites currently using ColdFusion
  • Criteria for using (or not using) ColdFusion
  • Basic coding samples
  • Interaction of ColdFusion with databases

A Web site developer with more than 5 years of experience with ColdFusion, David Schroeder also works with SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Oracle, Access, Fusebox, and process methodology. Fusebox, Introduction  
Saturday, June 12, 2004, 2:00-4:00 pm 

Fusebox helps programmers accelerate application development with reusable display elements and queries for ease of revision, clear organization, and elimination of redundancy. By using Fusebox, you can stick to coding by reducing the time spent in application design.
